Bookkeeping Instalment Plans
Receiving your course material on CD-ROM is our most popular method (this gives students portability - some even take their CD’s with them on holidays!). The course material may also be copied and saved to a USB stick, as well as downloading, printing and binding the lessons into a folder for you to organise. CD’s are also an excellent choice for people who have a computer but do not have internet access or have a slow connection.
Online students require a reliable internet connection. Our Student Study Zone allows you to view all of your course material online, anywhere in the world. Students can watch videos, read notes and study illustrations on the computer screen then complete self assessment quizzes to gauge their learning.
Course material may be supplied in a printed format. Students work through notes, practical tasks and assignments. The student is guided by a printed study guide and accompanying materials as well as advice and feedback from tutors. Assignments are submitted to tutors for grading and feedback, and exams can be taken anywhere in the world.

Amazon Kindle Offer
ADL are giving away – yes giving away – Amazon Kindles for all students enrolling on a Diploma level course or above. This sentence is worth repeating, because many of us are tempted to ignore such offers as ‘too good to be true’. ADL really are giving these superb devices away at no additional cost – your course fees remain the same*. This means that you can upload your course materials straight onto your new kindle, and take it with you wherever you go.
If you’ve not come across these outstanding e-readers, read on... This device not only facilitates, but actually enhances the experience of reading – so much so that few users go back to reading hard-copy books.
Some readers say they actually forget the kindle is there when they are reading from it – it is so slight and carefully designed.
It is similar in size to a paperback, but slimmer and more compact, as well as light-weight. Readers are astonished by the clarity of the screen, with its higher contrast E ink, which enables them to read for long periods without getting eye-fatigue. The screen is adjustable too, allowing you to read in portrait or landscape, with variable font sizes.
For students with considerable course material to cover, this device is the perfect complement – you can study anywhere, any time, without carrying heavy books, files and folders. The kindle battery lasts several days without needing to be re-charged.
With over 500 courses on offer at ADL, from a variety of disciplines, and plenty of support from highly qualified and experienced tutors, a kindle will be a welcome complement for any dedicated student. At ADL, never before has distance-learning been so easy, so accessible and so fun.
